A Statement on the Present War in Ukraine:
We are horrified, saddened, angered, and in turmoil as the news unfolds on our screens about Ukraine. We want the world to live in peace; we want people to get on with each other; and we can wonder at the machinations of those with power in aggression and in defence. The followers of Jesus are never powerless. What we do depends on our time and place but all Christians around the world, in his kingdom as priests and intercessors, are united in the ability to intercede for others to the Lord of the Church and of this world (Revelation 5:9,10).
So let us pray for peace in Ukraine at this time.
