Foreign Mission Projects in Zimbabwe

In 2010 our main foreign missions project was once again for the Lutheran Irisvale community in south west Zimbabwe. Irisvale congregation is part of the Western Diocese of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Zimbabwe (ELCZ). Previously we have assisted with funds to build a church which was dedicated in August 2007. During 2008 we collected clothes and reading material for Irisvale Primary School and the local community which arrived safely in December 2008. If you want to be involved or help financially with the next collection and shipment please go to the contacts page and get in touch.

Members of the congregation visited Irisvale in August 2007, in August 2009 and again in October 2012 to see progress and renew friendships.

You can read a report on the visit in 2009 by clicking here (this link will open a new window).
